Islam ☮

Islam is an Arabic word that means submission to Allah (God in English, same God in Christianity and Judaism). The root of the Arabic word 'Islam' is 'Salem' that means being in peace. This means that by Islam (submission to God) to achieve peace in yourself, between yourself and neighbors, community, and the universe. 

Quran says: 
{And if they incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing. (61)} [Quran, chapter 8, verse 61} 
and says: 
{Believers, all of you, enter the peace and do not follow in Satan's footsteps; he is a clear enemy to you. (208)} [Quran, chapter 2, verse 208]
